Karen Glynn has been a part of the Life & Health Care team since 2013. Karen grew up here in Webster City, but traveled the country in an RV for a time. Prior to joining Life & Health Care, she worked in a number of care facilities around North Central Iowa, which provided her the tools and experience to successfully navigate the waters of in-home care. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Karen also has a deep passion for animals, with dogs holding an extra special place in her heart. When asked about the things she finds most enjoyable about in-home care, Karen said, “I enjoy the hands on experience of helping people with their daily activities, getting to spend time with them one-on-one, and really getting to know a person. It’s hard to get that in a facility setting.”
Cheyenne joined the Life & Health Care team in October of 2021 after deciding she wanted to do something where she could be helping others while continuing to learn. She says that being able to have a positive effect on somebody’s life and possibly being the best part of their day is what is most enjoyable part of in-home caregiving. Her passions include doing basically anything where she can learn and create new experiences, including travelling and reading. Cheyenne has also continued to further her education, attaining her RN certification in 2024 as she continues to grow in her leadership role in our agency.
